The CAMPWISE staff is really helpful and the support is amazing. They are quick and efficient in helping us solve problems (even the ones that we create ourselves!), and are very reliable. They stick with us until it is fixed and just the way we want it! And, unlike the system that we used to use, we never get stuck in someone’s voice mail for days on end waiting for a reply!
The CAMPWISE system is easy to use. We use a lot of seasonal staff who don't have strong computer backgrounds, and they are able to learn the entire registration process in just a few days. This is a big improvement over the system that we used before, which required our staff to manipulate a lot of pages and data. Our staff is much more accurate in their data entry now.
The availability of reports is great. We can easily get access to a wide range of information. Our old system required one of our staff to be an expert in ‘reverse algebra’; and was limited to getting reports in only one way. The CAMPWISE system allows us to sort information in multiple ways, and is easy to use.

We previously used one of the other, older camp software packages. CAMPWISE was a pleasant change. Now I’m able to move from screen to screen using my mouse and no longer do I need to rely on knowing all the commands. Also, the screen size is so much better. Before I had to look at a small screen while now the program fills my monitor making it far easier to read and use.
Even those in the office who don’t use the system regularly find the system simple to use. If I’m away from the office and one of the directors needs to look up information, they can do so easily.
The customer support staff has been great. If I have a problem, most of the time they can work it out while I’m on the phone. At RecSoft they put us, the customers, first.
The Auto Housing feature works well. I had no way to do anything comparably on the old system we had. I can also override and use the manual housing feature.
At the end of the day, bookkeeping is a snap. I can generate the end of day reports, and a deposit details sheet.
With CAMPWISE I can generate invoices with our logo and camp information. All I need is plain paper and the invoices are professionally generated. With our old system I had to load the printer with letterhead and carefully monitor the printing.
The sorting aspect of the system is also helpful to us. Our receptionist enters all inquiries into CAMPWISE as soon as they are received. If we need to go back and track an inquiry or find a specific contact, we can. We can do look-ups using several different variables including last name, first name, address, city, state or zip code. All of the information from the inquiry fields populates the campers’ information fields when they register. This helps eliminate duplicate data entry.
