Housing/Grouping

  • Track an unlimited number of cabin mate requests for each session the camper is attending.
  • Define sections of camp as villages with an unlimited number of cabins per village
  • Customize the labels of housing to meet your unique needs.  For example change the labels to Building and Rooms or change all the labels to Group specific items for use in Day Camps.
  • Set age or grade ranges, gender, and number of beds for each cabin.
  • Add unlimited counselors (staff) to each cabin.  Counselor assignments are specific to a session making it easy to track past counselor assignments or change counselors during the summer.
  • Assign cabins to programs for each session to facilitate grouping of campers enrolled in the same program.  Validation checks are made to ensure that cabins of a specific gender do not get assigned to programs of the other gender.
  • Cabins can be assigned to multiple programs within sessions.
  • Facility assignments are easily copied from one session to another. Delete facility assignments for a given session if you want to start over.
  • Easily create housing assignments one camper at a time, for a session/program, or all campers in the system not already housed.
  • Create housing assignments automatically with the Auto-Housing feature. Auto-Housing puts campers into cabins based on age or grade, gender, and the program in which the camper is registered.
  • Manage all camper cabin assignments on one screen, including cabin mate requests.  Users can work with small subsets of campers for high enrollment sessions to make cabin assignment faster.  Users can view all available cabins on one screen including campers already housed, available space, and age/grade/gender requirements.
  • Easily move campers from one cabin to another.
  • You can override a housing placement to satisfy a cabin mate request if there is an age mismatch based on default values for that cabin.
  • Waitlist is displayed automatically if housing assignments are changed so that waitlisted campers can be handled immediately.
  • Auto-Housing can be performed automatically once the minimum deposit is received.
  • View housing status for all campers in a session and program or by village and cabin. Choose to view all campers, waitlisted campers, or campers that have not been allotted to a cabin yet.
  • Campers are waitlisted automatically if their age or grade is a mismatch for that specific cabin or if the bed count for that cabin is exceeded.
  • Use the Team Builder function to create small groups that are not associated with cabin assignments.
